| Take 4/6 wraps of lead to add weight. |
| Start your thread behind on the hook shank then wrap over the lead to secure. |
| Tie in 4 strands of crystal flash and trim just beyond the end of the hook. |
| Secure a section of small gold wire behind the lead and tying it back to the tail. |
| Create a cigar taper with golden stone dubbing. Stopping a beads width for the thorax. Wrap the gold wire and tie off at the thread. |
| Use rusty dubbing to build up a thorax. Whip finish and remove the thread. |
